MICHAEL’S IMAGES & IMPRESSIONS
Emerald Isle also offers the fine art photography of its owner, Michael Thulis, depicting Ireland landscapes, seascapes and architecture, as well as a variety of images from New England, the Southwest and Alaska/Canada.

Michael discovered his passion for photography in 1993 and formed Michael’s Images & Impressions in 1998. Michael has exhibited at many art shows throughout Connecticut since 1998. He was a long-standing member of the Connecticut Association of Photographers, the Wallingford Camera Club and a past president of the Castle Craig Camera Club in Meriden, CT.

Michael’s photographs have consistently been ribbon winners in camera club competition, as well as at state fairs such as the Durham Fair where his "Feeling Sheepish" image won a Special Best in Show Award. His images focus on simplicity and achieving striking renditions of everyday subjects or landscapes that are often seen, but not always noticed.
