LOUIS
MULCAHY POTTERY
Louis Mulcahy has been potting for nearly forty
years and has become one of Ireland’s most

potters in Dingle, Ireland. Louis Mulcahy pottery
is renowned
for its lively lustrous glazes and its timeless
shapes and durability. He works in stoneware
and porcelain
clays which, unlike earthenware, is immensely
hard, durable and suitable for the rigors of
modern use in
microwaves, ovens and dishwashers. The quality
of Louis Mulcahy’s pottery has led to the
evolution of a brand known worldwide. His pottery
has been
purchased
or presented to European and U.S. Presidents,
Prime Ministers, the Pope and many other dignitaries.

Mulcahy tableware, vases, lamps and other ceramic
gifts in

STEPHEN PEARCE POTTERY
The Stephen Pearce Company is situated in the
village of Shanagarry, County Cork, Ireland.
All tableware
and giftware products are handmade, using techniques
which are over 250 years old. Pottery is made
from wonderful ingredients such as local organic
Irish
clay and fresh spring water and all pottery is
dishwasher friendly. Emerald Isle Framing & Gallery
offers the two following ranges of Stephen Pearce
pottery:

Traditional
The products in this range are terracotta and white in color. This warm earthy
color combination is achieved through the naturally red Irish clay exterior of
each piece which is then contrasted with the hand poured, smooth creamy white
glaze. This range sits equally well in city, suburban and rural settings; its
look is rustic chic, earthy and genuine.

Shanagarry
This range has a sophisticated black and white appearance and is fully glazed
using traditional hand dipping techniques. The Shanagarry range has a strong
contemporary & urban look and feel, sitting very much at home, in loft apartments
and more urban dwellings. |

MULLINGAR PEWTER
The early history of pewter in Ireland goes
back at least 800 years. The pewters of this
era produced
the first utensils for domestic use, consisting

tankards, plates and candlesticks. This ancient craft of pewter making
was revived by Mullingar Pewter in 1974.
Today, raw
materials consist of 95% tin and balance
made up of copper and antimony. The products are guaranteed lead-free
and quite safe to be used for food and drink.
Mullingar
Pewter has consistently applied
the highest standards of design and quality control in the production
of these exquisite gifts. Mullingar Pewter
